The food and service go hand in hand. If one fails they both fail. That's clearly not the case here. Our waitress 'B' was excellent! And the food was delicious! My wife and I have been waiting to try this place. My wife walked into the restaurant two months ago, thinking they were open, and the joke was on her, the owner or staff explained they weren't open yet. Well momma had high hopes, and it was shot down, and two months later, I called her up while she was getting off from work, and asked her to meet me here to share a meal. It was awesome! Now we have three places that we trust will come through for our chicken and fixings. The sauces are made to flirt with your emotions, and their desserts are there to tuck you in bed. When we finished, we didn't reek of the idis, we reeked of home cooking food and customer love...
Very relaxed atmosphere. It was fun, got to be able to kind of sit kinda outside and uh, blocked off window area. Food was great, chicken actually had seasoning and flavor. It was our first time here, so they even brought out a little sample tray for the sides.It was very cool. We will be back.
We had a great experience giving this a try for the first time. The seating areas are kinda small and I wouldn't bring a large party here. The seating is perfect, however, for just two people, and it's arranged nicely to make it not feel too crowded. We sat at the bar, and they had an excellent beer selection as well as a full bar setup. The food is amazing. The selection lives up to the name! The server at the bar area was on it and attentive. The traditional fried chicken was above standard, and the sides were really delicious and didn't have that fast food vibe you get in the little Styrofoam cups. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Today we tried a very Nice, very conveniently located at 71st & Lynn Lane and surprisingly cozy place in Waldos. We sat and chatted and enjoyed delicious Hot Food and Cold drinks. This is a perfect place for couples or families and we just ate, relaxed and took time to 'just breath' in a very suttle place.
We love Waldos, been to most of the chicken spots in broken Arrow . So many good choices here, if you want tenders and ton of fries or a great salad . Walked in and everyone was welcoming and we were seated quickly. Our server Patrick gave us a sampler of all the sides, and after that we had a hard time deciding on what to get. I got the 3 tender combo with coleslaw and greens, my husband got the dark meat fried chicken with the white beans and collard greens. We don’t have a bad thing to say! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Patrick for making this a great experience!
First time at Waldo's and it didn't disappoint! The service, staff and food was amazing. This will be our new favorite spot for a quick lunch date. Don't forget a martini if you're dining in ;)
Where else in America can you enjoy a martini for under 4?! All day Sunday happy hour has some of the BEST drink prices I’ve seen! In this economy, I’ll happily drown my sorrows after church with 1/2 priced drinks for several hours. Lord forgive me for the sins I’m about to put my body through. And when everything is a blur after 4 or 7 martinis, enjoy a delicious Fowl Mouth sandwich. I live in LA and I’m considering flying back to Broken Arrow monthly just to enjoy Waldo’s happy hour. Sure the flight costs hundreds of dollars but I’ll break even after a few cocktails savings vs. overpriced LA malarkey.
